Its location was beautiful, near majestic old forest. The room was clean when upgraded with a nice private bath, fridge/freezer plus great views.

Had really good stay for a pleasurable visit and the weather was wonderful. My room was tastefully decorated and huge, with tea/coffee making equipment, a dining area, and a seating area. I had a view of garden from my window.

The Black Bear Inn was a hidden gem nestled amidst lush gardens and offering breathtaking ocean views. The owners have truly thought of everything, providing all the amenities we could possibly need for a pleasurable stay. The glassed-in porch was our favorite spot to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings, even on rainy days. The owners' attention to detail in the decor and furnishings made our room feel luxurious and comfortable.

All was just as we hoped, no improvements needed.

The inn owners Nicole and Jim are incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The accommodations are tastefully decorated and well-equipped with everything we needed. The private entrance and binoculars provided allowed us to enjoy watching local wildlife. The bathroom features a luxurious soaking tub and plenty of towels. The beds and pillows are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The antique-style gas fireplace added a cozy touch to the room. For travelers or locals looking to get away, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

One detail that impressed us was their helpful recommendations for spotting wildlife in the area, particularly the majestic black bears. Thanks to their advice, we were able to witness these incredible creatures up close. Additionally, the room we stayed in had a cozy verandah where we could sit and admire the breathtaking views of the passing cruise ships. It truly felt like a home away from home.

There was not a single thing about this hotel that I didn't find pleasing.
